Le Chiese Di Maratea

Chiesa Madre Maratea

Maratea is known throughout the world as the “City of 44 Churches.” This incredible artistic and spiritual heritage is not just a number, but a story that unfolds among the alleys of the ancient village, the peaks of the mountains, and the cliffs overlooking the sea. Every chapel, monastery, and basilica holds centuries of devotion and beauty.

Staying at the Le Chiane B&B, you will have the ideal starting point for a unique religious and cultural tour.

Next to the basilica, the majestic statue of Christ the Redeemer symbolically embraces the entire Gulf of Policastro, offering one of the most breathtaking views in Italy.
