The name “chiane” is a dialect word and means terracing, this type of agricultural architecture makes particularly sloping land like ours accessible. Characteristic of this area are the dry stone walls, built by hand with rough stones.
In front of the house there is a large lawn of dicondra and everywhere Mediterranean plants and exotic plants, shrubs, perennials and a citrus grove rich in particular species. The property goes upwards where there are olive trees, carob trees and oaks. There is also a great variety of African plants: agapanthus, jacaranda and paulownia trees, bougainvillea and Arabian jasmine.
